SUPPORT PELISA'S
COVID-19 PANDEMIC RELIEF

DONATE

Your donation will go directly to purchase solar systems that will be gifted to five rural communities outside of Brazzaville who lack electricity: Mbamou Island, Ngandu Boudzoua, Kindamba Ngouedi, Mayama, and Nganga Kobo. As always, we have partnered with the Ministry of Health and Education to direct these donations to each community hospital and primary/middle school (totalling five hospitals and five schools).

PROVIDING CLEAN ENERGY

DURING THE HEIGHT OF THE GLOBAL PANDEMIC

While number of infections per capita are relatively low compared to global statistics, precautionary measures such as stay-at-home orders and reduced market days have crippled the local economy. Demand for solar has skyrocketed as buying power plummeted to an all-time low.

Help us provide light through these dark times.

WHY HOSPITALS AND SCHOOLS?

Supporting communal health and education efforts are essential during these trying times. We’ve learned that these two institutions represent the highest touch points, yielding the strongest collective benefit to these vulnerable populations.

LOOKING BEYOND THE PANDEMIC

Continuing to build the local knowledge while expanding access to renewable energy (even through the pandemic) is crucial for strengthening the overall resilience of these communities.

Increased energy independence = less reliance for this generation and beyond.
